Terms of Service
Last updated: July 31, 2026
1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SkyFeed, a feed builder for Bluesky and the ATmosphere (AT Protocol ecosystem). SkyFeed is operated by Feedy UG (haftungsbeschränkt), registered at the Amtsgericht Darmstadt under HRB 107801, Holzhofallee 21, 64295 Darmstadt, Germany ("we", "us", "our").
SkyFeed has two surfaces: SkyFeed Classic (skyfeed.app) and skyfeed.eu. They are one service, and one account covers both. These Terms apply to both.
By using SkyFeed, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to them, you must not use the service.
2. Description of Service
SkyFeed is a feed building tool for the ATmosphere (AT Protocol ecosystem). You create, customize, and publish feed algorithms with a visual, block-based editor, and we serve those feeds to the people who subscribe to them.
SkyFeed Classic is the feed builder. skyfeed.eu is where you manage your account, your SkyFeed Pro subscription, and Feed Stats. Both surfaces are part of the same service and use the same account.
SkyFeed is not a social media platform. We do not host social media content, operate timelines, recommend content, rank posts, or curate speech. Serving a feed means running your feed logic over public AT Protocol content and returning a list of post URIs. Delivery analytics is described in section 5.
SkyFeed provides:
- A visual, block-based feed builder for creating custom feeds on Bluesky and the ATmosphere
- Feed serving infrastructure that runs your feed logic and delivers the results through the AT Protocol feed generator framework
- Account and subscription management, including Feed Stats for SkyFeed Pro subscribers
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use SkyFeed. By using the service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you may not create an account or use SkyFeed.
4. Account & Authentication
You sign in with your existing AT Protocol identity using AT Protocol OAuth. Signing in authorizes SkyFeed to act on your behalf against your Personal Data Server (PDS). One account covers SkyFeed Classic and skyfeed.eu. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your AT Protocol account credentials
- All activity that occurs through your authenticated session
- Promptly notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised
We never receive your password. Authentication uses tokens issued by your authorization server, and you can revoke those tokens there at any time.
5. SkyFeed Pro Subscription
5.1 Free SkyFeed and SkyFeed Pro
The feed builder and feed serving are free. SkyFeed Pro is an optional paid tier, and Feed Stats is a SkyFeed Pro capability. Subscriptions help fund infrastructure and continued development.
5.2 Feed Stats Access and History
Feed Stats counts requests to serve your feeds. Counts are broken down by hour and by request class. Feed Stats does not record which posts were returned. It is not a measure of people, views, impressions, or reach.
What the delivery logs contain, what is discarded, and what remains is described in section 5 of our Privacy Policy. In short: we keep aggregate request counts per feed, per hour, per request class; network addresses are discarded during processing, and no viewer identity is ever received or stored. Aggregation runs for every delivered feed, whether or not the feed owner has SkyFeed Pro.
Feed Stats currently displays the trailing 14 complete days, hour by hour. Retention is a separate matter: we keep the aggregate counts on a rolling 12-month basis, and that retained history is not a view you can browse. Where a feed is newer than the display window, or has been served for less time, the window shows only the hours for which data exists.
Feed Stats requires an active SkyFeed Pro subscription. Because aggregation runs regardless of subscription, a new subscriber sees the display window already filled, including hours from before they subscribed. When a subscription ends, access continues to the end of the paid period and then stops. Aggregation keeps running, so subscribing again restores access to the display window.
5.3 Payment Processing
All SkyFeed Pro payments are processed by Armitage Labs OÜ ("Creem"), based in Estonia (EU), which acts as our Merchant of Record. This means Creem is the legal seller of the subscription. When you purchase SkyFeed Pro, you enter into a separate agreement with Creem, and Creem's terms of service and privacy policy apply to the payment transaction.
Creem handles all billing, invoicing, sales tax, and VAT on our behalf. Your card details are collected and processed by Creem and never reach us: we cannot see or store your card number or any other payment credential. Creem does hold the email address it collects for your receipt and, for most payment methods, the name given at checkout. As the merchant on the account we are able to look those up in Creem's dashboard, and our Privacy Policy says what we use that for.
5.4 Pricing & Billing
SkyFeed Pro costs €5 per month, including applicable VAT, and renews automatically each month until canceled. We reserve the right to change the subscription price with reasonable advance notice. Any price change will take effect no earlier than the start of a subsequent billing period.
5.5 Cancellation
You may cancel SkyFeed Pro at any time through the Creem customer portal linked from your account. Cancellation stops future renewals. Your Pro access remains active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for and is not prorated or refunded solely because of cancellation. Your account page shows the date on which access ends.
When the paid period ends, access to SkyFeed Pro capabilities ends. The feed builder and feed serving stay available. Aggregation continues for every delivered feed, so subscribing again restores access to Feed Stats as described in section 5.2.
5.6 Refunds
Cancellation and refunds are separate. Refund options are handled by Creem as Merchant of Record and may be available through its customer portal. If you need help with a payment or cannot access an appropriate refund option, contact us at contact@skyfeed.dev and we will help you resolve it with Creem.
Refunds and withdrawal rights remain subject to Creem's terms and applicable consumer law. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights.
5.7 Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you generally have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day the contract was concluded, meaning the day your subscription was purchased.
To exercise this right, inform Creem (the Merchant of Record and your contractual counterparty for the purchase) by any clear statement, for example by email via the contact details in Creem's terms or through the customer portal linked from your account. No particular form is required; you may use the model withdrawal form set out in Annex I(B) of Directive 2011/83/EU, but you do not have to. Sending your notice before the 14-day period expires is sufficient. If you would rather contact us first, write to contact@skyfeed.dev and we will pass your withdrawal on and follow it up.
On valid withdrawal, Creem will handle any repayment required by applicable law, without undue delay and using the same means of payment unless you agree otherwise.
SkyFeed Pro provides paid digital service access. If performance begins during the withdrawal period at your express request, applicable law may permit a proportionate charge for service supplied before withdrawal. A withdrawal right can end early only when the applicable statutory conditions are met. These Terms do not record or assume that you made a request, acknowledgment, or waiver; refer to the information and choices actually presented and recorded during Creem checkout. Cancellation under section 5.5 and withdrawal under this section are different: cancellation stops future renewals, while withdrawal unwinds the purchase as provided by law.
6. User Content & Feeds
Your feed definitions are stored on the AT Protocol network (typically on your Personal Data Server / PDS), not on SkyFeed's infrastructure. We do not claim any ownership of your content, feeds, or data. You retain full ownership and control of your feed configurations and creative choices at all times.
SkyFeed's role is to execute your feed logic and serve the results to users who subscribe to your feed. If you stop using SkyFeed or we stop operating, your feed definitions remain on the AT Protocol network under your control.
Important: The AT Protocol is a public network. When you publish a feed, its configuration and metadata are publicly visible on the ATmosphere. That follows from the protocol itself and is not something SkyFeed controls.
You are responsible for ensuring that your feeds and their content comply with applicable laws and Bluesky's community guidelines. We reserve the right to stop serving feeds through our infrastructure that violate these Terms or applicable law.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use SkyFeed to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of SkyFeed or its infrastructure
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
- Create feeds designed primarily for harassment, abuse, or spreading harmful misinformation
- Use automated systems or bots to access the service without prior written consent
- Circumvent or abuse the subscription system or rate limits
8. Intellectual Property
SkyFeed is open-source software. The source code is publicly available under its respective open-source license(s). These Terms do not restrict your rights under any applicable open-source license.
The SkyFeed name, logo, and branding are the property of Feedy UG (haftungsbeschränkt). The open-source license does not grant rights to use our trademarks.
9. Disclaimers
SkyFeed is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Feed processing and delivery times may vary.
10. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for intent (Vorsatz) or gross negligence (grobe Fahrlässigkeit), for injury to life, body, or health, for fraudulently concealed defects, for any guarantee we have expressly given, or under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz). The limitations below apply only where the law permits them.
For slight negligence we are liable only where we breach an essential contractual obligation (a Kardinalpflicht), an obligation whose fulfilment makes proper performance of this contract possible in the first place and on whose observance you may regularly rely. In that case our liability is limited to the damage that is foreseeable and typical for this type of contract.
Subject to the two paragraphs above, our total liability for claims related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for SkyFeed Pro in the 12 months preceding the claim, or 50 EUR if you have not paid for SkyFeed Pro.
11. Termination
Your SkyFeed account is your AT Protocol identity; we do not issue a separate login, and your feed definitions live on your PDS rather than on our infrastructure. You can end your relationship with SkyFeed at any time: sign out to clear the session from your browser, and revoke SkyFeed's access from your PDS or authorization server.
Our DID-linked billing records are described in section 4 of our Privacy Policy; delivery analytics and Feed Stats retention are described in section 5. You can request deletion of DID-linked billing data by writing to privacy@skyfeed.dev; we may need to verify that you control the relevant DID. If you have an active SkyFeed Pro subscription, cancel it first (section 5.5) so that no further payments are taken. Creem retains its own transaction records independently to meet tax and accounting obligations.
We may suspend or terminate your access to SkyFeed if you materially violate these Terms or engage in conduct that is harmful to the service or other users. In such cases, we will:
- Notify you of the reason for suspension or termination
- Where the violation is remediable, give you a reasonable opportunity to address it before permanent termination
Termination means we stop serving your feeds through our infrastructure. We cannot delete your feed definitions from the AT Protocol network, as that data is controlled by your PDS. We will only terminate accounts without prior notice in cases where we are legally required to do so, or where continued access poses an immediate risk to the security of the service or safety of other users.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you at least 30 days before the updated Terms take effect, through the service or by other reasonable means. The notification will summarize the key changes and indicate the date they become effective.
If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you may stop using SkyFeed and revoke its access from your PDS before the changes take effect. If you have an active SkyFeed Pro subscription, you may cancel it and, where applicable, request a refund through Creem. We will not hold you to terms you have not had a fair opportunity to review.
13. Consumer Rights
If you are a consumer in the European Union, nothing in these Terms is intended to limit your mandatory rights under EU or national consumer protection law. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and mandatory consumer protection provisions, the consumer protection provisions shall prevail.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a competent court, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to conflict of law provisions. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also retain the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
